Memotoria supports structured study sessions so cards are not just read once, but reviewed at useful intervals.

Prepare a focused session

Before starting a session, choose the collection and filters that match your current study goal. A smaller focused session is often more useful than a large session that mixes unrelated topics.

Useful filters include:

  • collection;
  • tags;
  • due cards;
  • cards that need follow-up;
  • shared or personal material, depending on your permissions.

Choose a study mode

Memotoria offers two review approaches:

  • Quality mode when you want to rate how well you remembered the answer.
  • Leitner mode when you want a simpler card-box system with a clear correct-or-incorrect decision.

Both modes help easier cards appear less often and difficult cards appear more often.

Multiple-choice evaluation

For multiple-choice cards, Memotoria can evaluate the selected answers automatically. If you prefer to judge every card yourself, adjust the related setting in the app.

During review

Read the front side, answer before revealing the back side, then compare your answer honestly. If the card is unclear, mark it for follow-up and improve it after the session.
